We take immense pride in the outstanding participation of our ADI Philippines fellows during the Joint 37th IADR-SEA Annual Scientific Meeting and 2nd International Oral Health Symposium held in Singapore last November 2023. This prestigious event, organized by the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), stands as a testament to the commitment of our fellows to advancing oral health research on a global scale.
As a membership-based association, IADR plays a pivotal role in fostering international collaborations among researchers, institutions, and corporations, advocating for research opportunities that contribute to the enhancement of oral health worldwide. The annual symposium and the association's reputable journals, the Journal of Dental Research and the JDR Clinical & Translational Research, serve as crucial platforms for members to present and publish their research findings, facilitating the dissemination of valuable knowledge in the field.
After three years of navigating the challenges posed by the global pandemic, IADR welcomed participants to a face-to-face meeting from November 23 to 25, 2023. Among the notable contributors were our esteemed ADI Fellow and officer, Maricar Joy Andres, a faculty member at CEU, who presented her insightful poster on “Mechanical Properties of DX Universal Nano Hybrid Composite.”
Manila Central University’s Dr. Edbert Solano, an active member of our association, showcased his research on “Barriers in Utilization and Access of Dental Services for SHCN in Pampanga” through a captivating poster presentation.
Additionally, our proficient Fellow, Jonathan Fandialan, took the stage as the sole speaker from the Philippines, delivering an engaging lecture on TMD Research.
The ADI Philippines family takes this opportunity to extend our heartfelt congratulations to these exceptional doctors for the honor they have brought to our association.
Their dedication to advancing research and knowledge in oral health reflects the high standards upheld by ADI fellows and members. We are genuinely proud to have such accomplished individuals contributing to the global discourse on oral health research.
