Dr. Arlyn Leslie Donesa, DMD, PhD, presented preliminary findings from a prospective cohort study entitled “Baseline Masticatory Performance of Orthodontic Patients Assessed Using Gummy Jelly,” while Dr. Mary Iodine Lacanienta, DMD, MScD, PhD, discussed the “Association of Learning Styles with Teaching Styles: A Comprehensive Overview,” emphasizing innovations in dental education. Guest speaker Joshua Joel C. Manoharan, PTRP, DPAMS, also delivered a timely lecture on “Body Prophylaxis for a Sustainable Dental Practice,” underscoring the importance of ergonomics and practitioner wellness in modern dentistry.
