During the May 15 Quarterly Meeting , a new regent for the ADI - RP Section was appointed and inducted by no less than the ADI President - at Large , Dr. Jacob Park .
Immediate Past President Fellow Armin Segarra succeeded Master Fellow Aida H. Salcedo who served as Regent from 2017.
Fellow Armin Segarra was recommended by the local board and the recommendation was approved by President Jacob Park . His appointment as Regent is effective February 6 , 2021.
The regent is the representative of an ADI section or region in the central or international ADI Board . The term is for two years , and renewable for another two years only , for a total of four years .
The requirement to be regent is to be a former president of the section . Four monthly meetings via Zoom platform have transpired since then , starting April then and the latest on last July , 10 , 2021.
The salient points of these meetings are the following : The academy is in a period of reorganization .
A general convocation will be held this coming October 15 and 16 , 2021 at San Antonio , Texas
Due to the uncertainty of the situation brought about by the current pandemic , resulting in possible travel restrictions , the academy will allow virtual attendance to this general convocation.

A report by each section or region must be submitted by the end of the July 2021. President Michelle Segarra already submitted a report when she assumed office .
President Jacob Park will schedule a virtual meeting with the leadership of each section or region starting August 2021 .
President Park also graced our First Quarterly Meeting last May 15 to meet and greet the Fellows and to swear into their respective designations the officers of the ADI RP Section . He also gave a brief report on the situation of the mother organization and the reforms that his administration plans to pursue .
I am in the process of facilitating the remittance of payment of the initiation fees of our newly inducted fellows . Also , I will be happy to assist our fellows to gain access and individually pay their yearly dues via the ADI portal .
