The Academy of Dentistry International Philippines Section extends its warmest and proudest congratulations to our esteemed Fellow, Dr. Edbert P. Solano, on his induction as the 89th President of the Manila Dental Chapter of the Philippine Dental Association .
The grand induction ceremony took place yesterday, June 21, at the elegant Admiral Hotel, bringing together leaders and icons of the dental profession.
Highlights of the Evening
The event was graced by Honorable Senator Risa Hontiveros, who delivered an inspiring keynote speech emphasizing the critical need for oral health accessibility for every Filipino. She received a resounding ovation from the audience for her strong advocacy to increase the salaries of our public and government dentists—a vital step toward strengthening the country's healthcare system.
In a momentous highlight, Senator Hontiveros also officially administered the oath of office to our new President, Dr. Solano.
Following a delightful buffet dinner, the evening proceeded with the traditional turnover ceremonies. The formal presentation of the incoming Board and Officers wrapped up the night, marking the official beginning of a team ready to lead the Manila Dental Chapter to new heights.
A Celebration of Culture
The night was a beautiful display of Filipino heritage, with guests dressed in vibrant, color-coded “Modern Filipiniana” attire and the gentlemen proudly donning the Barong Tagalog.
Fellow Edbert P. Solano, your ADI Philippines family is incredibly proud of you! We wish you, your new board, and the entire Manila Dental Chapter a highly successful, impactful, and transformative leadership term.🦷🇵🇭
